What that means in practice
Buttons like “Check price on Amazon” and our short links (anything starting with https://thechewtest.store/go/) take you to Amazon. If you buy something within 24 hours of clicking — it doesn't have to be the product we linked — Amazon pays us a small percentage. The price you pay is exactly the same either way.
What it does not mean
No brand pays for placement, sends us free products, or previews our reviews. We buy everything we test at retail. Plenty of products on this site scored badly after we spent our own money on them — that's the deal, and the commissions only work long-term if you can trust the verdicts.
About prices
We deliberately never display Amazon prices. They change constantly, and showing you a stale number helps no one. Our price bands ($, $$, $$$) are rough editorial tiers; the current price is always one click away on Amazon.
