The Wishbone's pitch is simple: nylon so tough it outlasts your dog's ambition, shaped so they can actually grip it. Moose took this personally.

Test notes

Day 1: immediate approval. The paw-pin grip design is real — he locked it down and went to work like he was getting paid.

Day 10: visible tooth grooves, ends starting to texture. This is by design — the nylon wears in tiny bits instead of breaking in chunks.

Day 21: still in the rotation. We inspect the ends weekly and we'll retire it when they round off, per Benebone's own guidance.

Bottom line

The second-best pure chew we've tested. It will eventually lose, but it loses slowly, safely, and with bacon. That's all you can ask of nylon.

Chomp-approved

  • Three weeks against Moose and it's scarred but standing
  • The wishbone shape actually works — paws can pin it
  • Real bacon in the nylon. Moose confirmed. Repeatedly

Hard truths

  • Nylon shavings appear as it wears — inspect it weekly
  • Not for gentle chewers, it's basically a bacon-flavored rock
  • You have to retire it once the ends round off
